Kefir starter safely brings into our houses kefir ferments, to prepare a refreshing, nourishing and tasty kefir, a rich food for the wellbeing of adults and children.

Preparing home-made kefir is very easy: mix one liter of milk with one bag of Kefir Starter at room temperature (22-26°C). After 24 hours kefir is ready! Put it for 2 hours into the fridge and enjoy it!

How do I eat Kefir?

Kefir can be simply consumed as a white yogurt. It can also be mixed with honey, sugar, cocoa, fruit, cereals, and any other ingredient you like. Taste some of our selected recipes!

Preservation:

Kefir ferments can be spared for 18 months in dry place and at room temperature. Fresh kefir can be stored for 4 or 5 days in the fridge. Day by day, the flavor can result a little bit more acid because of its natural fermentation.

Can I use fresh kefir for a new fermentation?

Yes, you can. Just mix 6-8 spoons of fresh kefir with one liter of milk. Remember to clean thoroughly all your tools. To obtain a good fermentation we suggest you to use a fresh kefir, stored in the refrigerator for less than 2 days.
